Drawing for Artists & Designers
Non-Residential (Students must commute)
Grades: 9-12
Dates: April 27 - June 3, Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:00 - 6:30 pm
Cost: $300
In Drawing for Artists & Designers, you'll learn drawing concepts fundamental to contemporary art and design practice. You will gain knowledge and experience in a variety of approaches, ranging from basic mark-making to observational and technical drawing.
Residential
Grades: 9-11
Dates: June 28 - July 18, 2015
Cost: $3000
What is it like to earn a BFA degree at a world-class university? BFA Preview is a three-week residential studio for current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. You'll live on the historic U-M campus, make work in your own studio and have access to state-of-the-art facilities.
Residential
Grades: 9-11
Dates: July 26 - August 8, 2015
Cost: $2000
Working with Stamps faculty and staff, you will learn how to create, select, and best present your work for a competitive portfolio during this two-week residential studio. You'll also learn about the college admission process, career options, and the advantages of earning an art & design degree at a world-class university.
Applications must be submitted by March 15 for early action. The final deadline for application is April 5. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.
