UBC Summer Scholars Program

The University of British Columbia's Summers Scholars Program is a two-week summer course that will engage them in hands-on research and design, while learning from professors at UBC's beautiful Okanagan campus.
Students will have the option to choose from two courses while expanding their horizon this summer
Applied Science and Design (Engineering): Students explore a unique combination of lectures with UBC professors, in design based labs and group projects while being mentored by current Engineering students.
Environmental Sciences and Sustainability: Challenges students to grow their knowledge of environmental sciences in an experiential way, guided by UBC Professors and experts in field research.
Who is eligible?
Students must be:
Entering one of their final two years of high school
Between the ages of 16 and 18 years of age
In good academic standing (unofficial transcript required); and
Be able to undertake studies in English at a university level
