High school students looking for exceptional summer educational programs have a number of exciting and rewarding options at Susquehanna University. Each program allows attendees to get a taste of college life as they are immersed in weeklong programs that will challenge, inspire and prepare them for the future.
High school students talented in woodwind, brass and percussion instruments gather for the summer Wind Ensemble Institute. This week-long experience focuses on chamber music and symphonic wind ensemble performance.
Some of the nation’s most talented high school writers come together each summer for the Writers Workshop. Participants spend a week in intensive, small-group workshops in fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry, headed by nationally recognized authors.
Leadership Institute for Entrepreneurship
High school students interested in business can learn the ins and outs of starting and running a company. Participants learn entrepreneurship skills by doing in a team-based approach. Hosted by Susquehanna's Sigmund Weis School of Business.
This unique summer performance experience for high school students is week-long residential program focuses on improving students' musicianship, vocal technique and choral performance skills.
