Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity in the heart of Washington, D.C. Specially designed for international high school students, this program prepares them for university-level study in the United States.

Eligibility

This program is open to students ages 15-18 (including students who may be considering a gap year after high school). It is intended for students for whom English is a secondary language and who have intermediate to advanced levels of English proficiency.

Course Details

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses will develop critical skills necessary for academic success in the U.S. classroom such as reading, writing and oral presentations.

Students will also increase fluency and confidence in spoken English as they hone skills of critical inquiry and intercultural literacy necessary for success in college. Topics will focus on American culture and the university experience.

College Success Series

Participants will also enroll in the College Success Series, programs that introduce students to U.S. higher education. Here they will have the opportunity to learn about different types of higher education options, admission requirements and strategies, majors and career advising and the student and university experience.
