Drexel U now offers Early Action
Post date: Aug 22, 2013 6:18:32 AM
(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) - Beginning this year, students can choose from three application options: Early Action I, Early Action II, and Regular Decision. Students who choose to apply for either of the Early Action options have the advantage of receiving admission decisions much earlier than if they applied through Regular Decision, and Early Action is non-binding. Application deadlines and more information can be found at our freshman application instructions page.
We are proud to announce that this fall, the inaugural Freshman Frontiers: First Term in Dublin cohort will begin their Drexel education abroad in Ireland, studying at the Dublin Business School and School of the Arts. This program is a great way for qualified students in business and humanities majors to get an international experience early in their college careers. The Freshman Frontiers application is due March 1, and students can apply prior to receiving their University admission decisions. Visit our Freshman Frontiers page to learn more.
Students can take a closer look at life on campus through Drexel's award-winning Virtual Tour.
Finally, as a comprehensive research university, we are committed to growing the resources and opportunities we offer our students. Last academic year saw the completion of the URBN Center, the new state-of-the-art home of the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. This year we are eagerly anticipating the opening of the new LeBow College of Business Building and Chestnut Square, which will provide student housing as well as retail and dining spaces. We have also added new undergraduate majors: Geoscience (with three tracks: applied geology, general geoscience, and paleontology), Informatics, and Public Health, as well as Business Analytics, which is offered as a co-major.
