The UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science invites motivated international high school students to Los Angeles, California, to participate in a rigorous academic and cultural enrichment program.

Discover Engineering at UCLA students participate in an intensive 3 week program. Students will form teams to take on engineering design challenges such as developing a smartphone app or designing a model race car. Technical instruction and mentoring will be provided by UCLA Engineering students and faculty.

Discover Engineering at UCLA participants will gain a competitive edge in engineering education, working on hands-on projects they can highlight when they fill out applications to US universities. Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Dean of UCLA Engineering.

Discover Engineering at UCLA participants will live in a dormitory on the beautiful UCLA campus. They will improve their English language skills, exercise their creativity and learn about college life.

Discover Engineering at UCLA is the only program offering an opportunity to work with UCLA Engineering students, faculty, and staff in UCLA Engineering facilities and labs.
