Tina Quick is the founder of International Family Transitions, a consultancy whose mission is to empower families to negotiate international transitions and turn them into successful adventures. She specializes in working with TCKs who are returning to their passport countries or going on to a second host country for college/university. She recently launched her newest book, The Global Nomad's Guide to University Transition.

What is a Third Culture Kid? “A third culture kid is a person who has spent a significant part of his or her developmental years outside their parents’ culture. The third culture kid builds relationships to all the cultures, while not having full ownership in any. Although elements from each culture are assimilated into the third culture kid’s life experience, the sense of belonging is in relationship to others of the same background, other TCKs.”http://www.tckworld.com/

The webinar will cover TCKs: their struggles, strengths and attributes and discuss supporting our global kids. The second section of the webinar will cover the transitions that TCKs experiencing when going to college.
