Nagoya University (NU) is a nationally-funded research university with strong focus on international education. Currently we are ranked 99 in the world and 17 in Asia (QS 2013).

Our International Undergraduate Programs (in Automotive Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biological Sciences and Social Sciences) have been launched in October 2011, and all courses are taught in English.

From Oct. 2014, due to the success of our current international programs, we are adding one more program called Japan-In-Asia in the School of Literature, focusing on history and culture of Asia, film, pop-culture or visual media.

As a research-intensive university, we are looking for the students who have strength especially in science and mathematics. We welcome students interested in exploring their future education and career in Japan, although we do not require any Japanese language background for application.
